Friday Confessional~April 15

Another week gone, a lot of snow went this week, the sun was shining, and the wind was blowing.

Linking up with Mamarazzi again this week for the Friday Confessional

Photobucket

My first Confession is a compliment to Mamarazzi, I play along with a few of her links, and plan to follow her Q & A next week too, but I really got to say, I like the way she has a few rules on her linky parties, when you link up she want you to link to you blog post, not your WHOLE blog, so then when others use the link, that is what they find, the proper link. I have looked around at a few other linky parties for other things, and finding someones whole blog not the proper post, instantly turns me off.

So Thanks Mamarazzi for being so mean, jk, for doing things right!!

on to other things,

I confess, I am a little confused and pissed off, I live in Canada, and right now our dollar is worth more than the US dollar, but our prices of things are still way higher than the US price. As much as 45% on some things, stupid, not fair.

I asked a sales person the other day what the deal was, $100 higher on 1 item, she tells me it has nothing to do with the exchange rate, and has to do with shipping.....so what they shipped that one item on it's own boat from china???

I confess I have nothing else to confess...must have been a good week, lol

Gotta run, a house to clean and food to be cooked and baked, 25 people here tomorrow for an early Easter dinner

Happy Friday!!

I didn't know how to properly link up back in the day either. People will tell you really quickly around here though!

I didn't know it was so much more expensive in Canada. Maybe you should move here! =)

25 people? OMG. I would die. I hope people are helping you cook!

Don't worry. Our politicians are ruining the American dollar and we are probably facing hyper-inflation. Then we will move to Canada. So we can afford food.

I am visiting from Mamarazzi's blog.

I'm in Canada too, and the other day I went to Hollister (no, I don't actually buy stuff there, I just look and wonder who has that kind of money) but I couldn't believe that the Canadian price was higher than the American one.
Good point!

I sort of want to live in Canada some day. Really, I do. Even with the higher prices of things.

I love the rules that Mamarazzi lays down! It totally spoils us and I'm the same way if I try another linky party and it's all crazy, I just won't do it again.

So I knew it was more expensive, but had no idea it was that expensive. Yikes!

Yeah, what's really depressing is watching House Hunters when they're filming in the States. $145K for a 3-bedroom house? Seriously?? The exchange rate spread isn't that big!

When the dollar was at parity, I read an article saying that our prices are so much higher because we accept it, and Americans don't. Maybe we should be a little less polite after all.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
