Miscellany Monday....June 27

Happy Monday Morning



First off I will say I am getting very POed, but I am not sure what the cause of it. I am having issues posting comments on blogs, and posting on my own blog, as well as making changes to my blog. I did some updates on my computer a few weeks ago and ended up with Explorer 9, and hated it, so I downloaded Google Chrome, it is better, but there are still issues.

Second, tomorrow is the last day of school!! Which will be good for about the first week, until they all get bored, and start fighting.

Last but certainly not least I want to show you a few pics from my weekend


We hosted our house warming, and had roughly about 45 family and friends here.


This is just a sampling of the baking that was done

There were lots more men, but my picture taker was busy entertaining the small guests.

I know, I know it is Tuesday, but Monday was just to filled with goodness to sit in the house longer than I had to.

The weekend was good, grad in our little town, and I had been asked to take some pictures for some of the grads, as I posted yesterday in my link to my Photography blog, www.personalreflectionsphotography.blogspot.com

Monday was a good day,

My hubby and I had ordered blinds for some of our windows in the house, and I had picked them up on Sunday while flower shopping in the city. Monday morning the hubby proceeded to hang the blinds without even being asked.

I created 25 invitations for a party....

My Mother in Law and I planted all said flowers, and now my front door and deck just look wonderful, can't wait for all of the landscaping so I can get some perennials into the ground too

After the planting and supper, I went with my puppy Spike for our walk, we went 2 1/2 miles, getting a little farther every time.

While we were out walking Spike must have scared this deer out of hiding, he didn't go far, just stood and watched us


This morning as I sit and type this, while enjoying my coffee out on our deck, I can say I truly am happy and content living out on the farm in our new house. It is beautiful out, almost like sitting on the deck at the lake....without the lake.
Here I have Robins, and Bunnies running in my back yard, Owl that wake you up at night....but I love it and would not trade it for nothing.

Friday Confessional June 10

Joining Mamarazzi again the week to vent...I mean Confess what has been bothering me this week

I am feeling much better this week, than last, thank goodness!

but I must Confess that I have not always taken my meds as prescribed. I am busy and not always home when I should be taking them, but I am still taking them.

first off I Confess, I HATE Explorer 9 on my laptop, I did the upgrade without thinking....what was I thinking. I cannot properly leave comments on other blogs because of it. (I seem top be able to only leave comments from my computer on the blogs that have the pop up comment window, so perhaps if they were all like that I could leave more comment...hint hint)

I Confess I am using the desk top Computer today because it still has Explorer 8

I Confess it is much easier to use a computer with a 17inch screen than the 3 inch screen on my ipod touch to leave comments on other blogs

I Confess, I miss my poor Library

I was the Librarian at our local library, all by my self, in a town of 600, there is no need for more than 1 of us to be there.

I Confess, it was a mutual decision, between my hubby and I that I would step back to the replacement position and be home on the farm

I Confess that I was busy enough during seeding,that I didn't miss it

I work this last week for the new Librarian

I Confess, my poor library...

I must Confess the new librarian, is not much at housekeeping

I Confess, my poor books were screaming, all squished in the shelves

I Confess that my poor books were confused, not being in their proper places.

I Confess the first day in, I REALLY wanted to fix it all and clean it all up, but then remembered it is her place now, not mine, and if that was how she liked it, that was up to her.

I Confess by the 3rd day I could not stand it anymore

I Confess, I cleaned it all up, and fixed all the shelves

I Confess I felt much better afterwards, lol

I Confess I never thought of myself as a neat freak, but that drove me nuts!!
