I am Conni, a busy stay at home farm wife and mom

I love to make stuff, whether it be crafty stuff, paper craft stuff sewing stuff or cooking/baking stuff, just like making stuff!!

My card this week if for a friend of mine that has recently retired from farming

 and built a new house in the city!

She should have received it in her mail by now so it should be safe to post it, lol

I popped up the one house and added buttons for the trees

Hope she liked it!

I also hope she is enjoying her NEW house and her retirement!!

Instagram Friday

I have to admit, I really love my iphone, I am so glad my son wanted to trade me, he actually wanted my blackberry!

I love taking pictures with my iphone

I quite like Instagram as well

I went out for a walk the other night, ended up going 3 miles!!

Did it again the next night too!!

Then the weather turned ugly 

Fell in love with these!!

Had dinner out with a great friend, didn't take any pictures!!

Project Life Week 12

I there, I am Conni, and welcome to my Project Life

I Love pictures, taking them, looking at them, having others look at them!

I am a scrapbooker as well, but I am very strict about getting every picture off of the camera, and out  of the computer!  I use the project Life album as a Photo album for our every day pictures, and still scrapbook the ones that have meaning

This week I didn't take many pictures, and some of the ones I did take were with my iphone, so not that great quality, but they still have meaning to us.

- had a day in the city with the boys
Steph got her license!

Project Life Tuesday Week 11

I am back with my Project Life

I am all caught up, I did about 5 weeks this last week to get caught up

It took me all week but I am done none the less

This week has a few inserts

I used a very hybrid method this week,

The blu page with all the calves is digital as well as some of my insert pages,

while the rest are traditional PL pages

The Saskatchewan Roughriders came to town this last weekend

to play a Rec hockey game to help us raise money for a new Swimming Pool.

We LOVE the Riders in this family!!

We took many things to get autographed,

moms Rider jersey,

Joshes jersey which is too small ( and has since been framed to hang in his room)

a flag that hangs on the wall in Josh's room as well

These 2 insert pages are both digital

Josh was pretty excited that his favorite player, #6 Rob Bagg was here. He got his to sign his hat, and got a picture just with him.  Aunty Kathy brought us Sask Roughrider Scrapbook paper, which will be great for scrapbooking these pictures for Josh's scrapbook

Need to get my butt in gear and get some cards made, May is coming up and I NEED lots of cards for that month

I found a blog that I love. Paulines Papier I love her cards, I love her style, and I love that she is a

Stampin Up demonstrator, so I know I can get the stuff she used, or improvise and make it my own.

There is one down side to this blog, I cannot understand a word she has written!! Even when I do the google translate, it still doesn't really make sense.

Any way, I have CASED many of her cards, love them

I actually did some sewing on this card, and used Smooch Spritz for the first time

This one went to my Niece for her Birthday back in March, hope she liked it!!

I went digital this week

I found Jessica Sprague

She has all of the Project Life stuff in Digital, I got the page templates and some of the Clementine kit, I am planning on mixing digital with regular, because I often have other little items I include in my pages

Slow week around our place

trips to the dentist,

We went to watch Hanna at her Skating Carnival

the boys built their own Monster Truck arena

and we were all tired, (even my hubby)
